Yes, she really is playing netball in those ridiculous shoes. She and N were filling time before the chauffeur wondrous Ben arrived.
And before you chide me for allowing her out in that get-up, just stop and take a look at what N is almost wearing..
Och well, at least they allowed me a few arty shots before they ran off (so long as I was quick, didn't pause to set a frame, or dare have the temerity to even think of lugging my tripod along)..
N is going to KILL me when she sees this next one - haaaaaaaaaaaa!

Um, I'd best put up a better one, to balance it out.
Pretty, isn't she? They both are.
My little girl is growing up, she starts driving lessons this month (sigh). Before long she'll be joining her brother, Matt, taking off for university life. Then of course, it'll soon be Abby's turn, too.

It gallops by sooooooo fast.
Which is why when the opportunity presents itself, I grab these rare days with both hands. Bec spends less and less time with me these days, she leads a full and happy social life, and no, I wouldn't have it any other way.
I'd give almost anything for Sweet Sam to have the same.

Beautiful shots :)) But why don't her heels sink into the turf like mine do? *Smacks head* Oh, of course. I MIGHT weigh a little more. Prefer to believe that they are playing on artificial turf, however. Have a nice weekend!
Fabulous photos, and poignant words...
They are both MORE THAN BEAUTIFUL. They could both be models! Better get yours to a GYN for the "you-know-what pills" - better safe than sorry. The loss of that body at such a young age would be a shame. I know - been there!
Ha, oh no Li, there is a concreted off area where they play - even they would sink on the turf, trust me!
Ah Jinksy, it's kinda' bittersweet seeing my others move on, y'know? Sam took it real hard when Matt left.
I hear you, Leslie (wink)!
Three words... GET A GUN! Oh, and three more... KEEP IT LOADED!
nice antry ...
Ms A, they lock folk up over here for keeping stuff like that (giggle).. but worry ye not, I am a scary enough weapon if push comes to shove - just ask the wondrous Ben..!
Thank you, Bang.
Good heavens but those are beautiful girls! Mrs A has the right idea...load it with salt and keep it by the door. Phew! Will you ever breathe a sigh of relief when they are safely given away.
tq ..for visit my blog
Stunning. Glad they're not MY daughters: any guy coming to call would be met widda lecture, punctuated with a shotgun across my lap, that always starts, "now looky h'yar, sonny...."
Ooooh Shrinky - that last bit about Sam brought instant tears to my eyes. Big gulp. I so hope he finds his little niche in the big wide world. He's gorgeous too xxxxx
Your daughter is truly "MODEL BEAUTIFUL" it is obvious that she takes after her MOMMA!
Gorgeous girls! Beautiful, beautiful! Where were they going? They looked nightclub ready!
absolutely beautiful and sam is so handsome.
Wow! Those Wood Nymphs are growing up fast :-)
Save a full-color 8-by-10 of these in a safe-deposit box, and "surprise" either---or both---of them, ON THEIR 40TH-BIRTHDAY(S)!
"Karma" is rough, sometimes!☺☺☺!
The girls are enjoying this time in their lives. They are so pretty.
Sam has disappointments to face and I so hope he has his own good life.
Gorgeous gals....they ought to have a drink named after them....Bec has amazing eyes!! And yes, Sam needs his own place in the sun, doesn't he?
My how they grow so quickly. You're capturing some beautiful photos of the moments. Those girls should be having the time of their lives now--oh to be young--and why not?!
Sam will have his time, too. He will.
Happy Mother's Day! :)
sweet sam and my sweet dan. 32 , wants to marry, but is scitzophrenic, wants kids. his church tells him to marry, but he knows better<><><>the church just generally says to marry and multiply and replentish the earth, and he is smart enough for him <><><> this not possible. but like you i have some beautiful children 2 going to university, 2 married with children{9 grands}
Moannie, only one of the girls up there is mine, tho' I do also have another daughter a couple of years younger than Bec. I'm in no rush to marry her off - she has uni and a career to find first (fingers crossed)!
You are very welcome, Bang.
Skunk, the wondrous Ben and I have already had several words along those lines..!
Yo...I just posted your requested song on my site!!!
Hi Kristina (passing you a tissue), yeah, sometimes it sucks, doesn't it? x
Aww Marty, flattery will get you everywhere (grin)!
Netball in heals - a new one for the Olympics?
Oh Portia, they ALWAYS seem to have a party to go to - this one was a friend's 18th birthday bash.
Aw Jackie, Sam is as geeky and awkward looking as it gets, facial tics n' all, but he'll always be handsome to me (grin).
You're telling me, Mallie, makes me feel OLD!!
I know Bruno, no one ever believes old age always catches up with them in the end (maybe it's just as well, eh?)
Thanks Technobabe, yeah, I truly do too.
Mine are 36 and 33 and flew ther coup at 17 each as did I - Mother's day is a disaster (here in Aus - only last Sunday)
Yeah Dan, he hasn't the easiest of paths to walk, but we're getting there.
Whoo-hoo on that song - I'm trotting over to hear it now!!
Cheers Jayne, yeah, I often give a wistful sigh when I look at them, so confident, young and ready to conquer the world.. ahhhhhhh, time is so cruel!
Oh Putz. ((x))
Hey there RC, don't be putting any ideas in their heads..!
Aw Therese, it's always a mixed blessing when they fly the coop, isn't it? Hope they were able to check in with you though, on the day?
Fun Photos! What a great shot of N in the chair. OH, an 18th birthday party is where they are off to. YIKES! I hope they are home by curfew.
You look great (as always) in the shot with Sam. His face is thinning out and he's becoming a little man himself. (hugs)
I have two daughters - those were love hate times. What will get you later is when they are older and begin to tell you the stories of these days - Yikes! Get ready.
Ok, beautiful shots but how easy was that with the models you have to work with...I must say, I love those shoes!!!!
Sandi
Absolutely fantastic!
I'll introduce this blog to my wife. :)
Great photoss! Hey not just anybody can do that with heels on!
I hope you had a nice Mother's Day!
Holy cow, they're both gorgeous! I never looked like that!
Hi Chewy-Pie, och, they seem to have some party to go to every week - what a life! And yeah, Sam is virtually all grow-ed up now - I have a devil of a time getting him to shave (giggle)..
Grayquill, there are some things you just DON'T need to know, eh? (Shudder..)
Sandi, here's the kicker - those shoes are MINE!! Nothing in this house is sacred, make-up, shoes, even my UNDIES. (Mutter, mutter.)
Hey Tame Lion, how lovely to see you in here, thanks for stopping by!
Haha Pat, yup, guess they can chalk that up to years of practise!
Me neither, Barbara - maybe she was switched at birth??
Great shots. Nice sentiments in your post too. Fab.
Hey there Shayne, where have you been girl? Great to know you're back (trotting off to peek into your site)..
They are indeed beautiful C. Sweet Sam - will be enjoying a laugh with him soon Dxx
wow, what pretty girls! They may just leap from your blog to fashion magazines everywhere!
Shrinky, sweet Sam has a good life, the way you care for him he is very lucky. I am sure he knows it too deep in his heart. Anna :)
I just love the photo of you and Sam - with your hair whipping across your face you look so amazing -
Of course your girls are amazing as well - its hard to credit how beautiful daughters are - then realise that we were probably just as beautiful
Fabulous photos of two amazingly beautiful young ladies. Having teenagers in the house is a difficult but wonderful time. I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
oh, wow, Carol.
