And A Fine Time Was Had By All

Jake is a tad disappointed.
"Catnip??  Bec, you grass me up to Santa about that steak I stole?"

Matt is delighted with his new Mac.
"Seriously?  I let you snap me in the cruddy work outfit and with the bad hair, or I hand the entire laptop back?"

Camouflaged as a Christmas tree, this year neice Rosie hopes to pass off her brother as a present under her.

Abby-Red-Dress agrees, "Yup, it's a total mystery where that Biccardi went.."

"This makes my head dizzy!"

Shrinky demands a head-count.

"I did not birth all of these."

Finding the shed full, Shrinky takes off to hide in the woods.
Ahhhhh, it was proper luverly, so's it was, but I'm near about all blissed out by now.

A very belated Happy New year to you all, dearest friends.  I still have a full house right now, but am hoping normal service will soon be resumed - once I pack wave Matt back to Uni, return the girls off to school, and manage to get Sam settled down into his usual old routine again.

So how was it for you?

We had a great Christmas, thanks!

You have a real house full by the look of it, but you seem to have clung on to the remnants of your sanity :-)

Have a great 2012!

What delightful pictures of a sweet (and likely complicated) family. Everyone looks happy. And oh, in defense of Matt, I think he looks just fine! Hope it is a wonderful year for each and every one! : )

ours was good, just the usual i.e. 4 of us plus the mum-in-law. New Year we had son's girlfriend, New Years Day was the entire family at the restaurant... well nearly all a couple couldn't make it with work commitments - about 14 of us!

I looks lovely. Christmas was good but rushed as we took off out west (on the train). But then, between Christmas and New Years, I got to ski with my daughter on the big mountains, hike a canyon with my son who still lives out there, and meet a grandson (how cool is that?).

Ours was the best yet, only two meltdowns and they were comparatively brief. So glad you posted so many photos.

the full house can be a shock to the routine so I can understand wanting to go for a stroll. No snow it appears.

Lovely photos. We had a very quiet Christmas...quite different from when our family was young. It was great to be home with no pressure of travel and no work responsibilities.

I wish you a very happy 2012.

You look adorable!

I am always happy when it's all over, even though we had a very nice time. Then I got the birthday out of the way,and hoping the next won't roll around quite so fast.

Happiest New Year Shrink,,,to all of you,and give Jake a hug from me.

I am glad you had a full house. The alternative would be maybe quiet but lonely.
It looks like everybody is smiling. Good job.

It's a lovely tribe you've got, dear Shrinky! Also I was impressed by your pretty outfit in the first picture. You look gently glittering, neatly brushed and so happy. Our Christmas too was fine, great gathering with relatives AND with our mad shetland sheepdogs Duffy and Rosie barking ecstatically throughout. (We love them, but could it be...that some find them annoying? Oh no, impossible!)
