I've got some stuff that needs to be done, trouble is my laptop always seems to get in the way of it. Sheesh, I know I'm I am amongst friends here, most of us are the same, I dip on-line for what is meant to be an hour, and before I know it another day has slipped through my fingers.
I've produce in the garden to turn into chutney and jam, an unfinished novel tugging for attention, not to mention this late summer sun inviting me out to play. The house is begging for a lick more care, and Jake is tired of being short changed with these shortened walks of his on the beach. Yes alright, I'm starting to ramble now, but you get the picture, huh?
I'll be back soon enough and I'll still pop by for the odd visit or two, I simply want to dust down the cobwebs so I might come back a little more refreshed and enthused. Have fun you guys, just remember I'm watching you..

Hey ho I fully understand honeybunch! We are having a bike expedition me thinks tomorrow and possibly out with friends Sunday afternoon! THEN..........I too must get the apples picked, elderberries and brambles. This has been a good kick up the backside....well done you! By the way, I have been given a fantastic couple of recipes from Jon's mum. I'll e-mail them over!

Life, chores and loves. Not enough hours to enjoy all of it at the same time. Chores may turn into delicious delights and words into a wonderful novel. In-between take Jake to the beach, as often as you can, before winter arrives.
My heart and head haven't been into blogging lately.
Aww, you have a lovely way with words Chewy, and yes there is always much to do, and never enough time to do it in. I think we all need a break away from the blog from time to time, everyone gets a little weary now and then.

Cath, it's comforting to know I am not alone. The first time I took a short break, it ran into a month.. I worried I might have left it too long. I was wrong, it was like coming home again - and it helped. A lot. I felt much more productive for having had the break.
Oh no Jules, I'm not READING a book, I'm WRITING one (or at least trying to - I even had an agent on a promise when I last looked - but it's been so long now, I'm frightened to check)!

Oh GAWD, I know what you mean. I go on just supposedly to check email and next thing you know I'm looking at everyone's latest posts, playing games on facebook, and it's bedtime! At least I don't have to answer to anyone but myself.
Save some of that chutney for when I come a'visitin' next summer, fingers crossed. Still no date for surgery, so every day goes by is a day less for rehab! :(
