Yes, she really is playing netball in those ridiculous shoes. She and N were filling time before the chauffeur wondrous Ben arrived.
And before you chide me for allowing her out in that get-up, just stop and take a look at what N is almost wearing..
Och well, at least they allowed me a few arty shots before they ran off (so long as I was quick, didn't pause to set a frame, or dare have the temerity to even think of lugging my tripod along)..
N is going to KILL me when she sees this next one - haaaaaaaaaaaa!

Um, I'd best put up a better one, to balance it out.
Pretty, isn't she? They both are.
My little girl is growing up, she starts driving lessons this month (sigh). Before long she'll be joining her brother, Matt, taking off for university life. Then of course, it'll soon be Abby's turn, too.
It gallops by sooooooo fast.
Which is why when the opportunity presents itself, I grab these rare days with both hands. Bec spends less and less time with me these days, she leads a full and happy social life, and no, I wouldn't have it any other way.
I'd give almost anything for Sweet Sam to have the same.
