And the winner is…

Isn't this the coolest of posters?  It can be downloaded to print out on any ink-jet printer, and it is yours for FREE in a special give-away, over at Chewy's store.

Thank you to everyone who participated in my fun caption competition, what a creative and witty lot you are!  I felt between a rock and a hard place having to come up with only one winning entry, but in the end, it just had to go to Sling, for this original and very funny one-liner..

Wow, the shoreline drops off pretty quick..Wait right there Shrinky,..I'll go get help.

Congratulations Bonny Lad, if you care to email your address to me, a copy of Chewy’s  book, the marvellous “Keen Colory Critter’s” is all yours for the taking!

Um, I also couldn’t resist posting one more entry:

“I've just met this new chick - she loves fast cars...”

Yeah, I know, Rock Chef  may be a sick and twisted little bunny, but he sure knows how to tickle the funny bone, albeit in a warped, bad taste kind of way!  Sorry Rock Chef, there is no runner-up prize, just the satisfaction of being named and sha  high-lighted for all to see, as the clever scribe that you are (wink)..

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

On Father’s Day, we took off for a hike in the countryside, which ended at this Pub..   Take a close look at this picture – see that cheeky little mutt over there, up on his hind legs?

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The little rascal appeared to be soundly snoozing, up until the moment his elderly companion went to refresh his pint of beer.  The moment he disappeared from sight, without missing a beat he, quick as a flash, leapt into action.  Skillfully reaching into the pocket of the poor guy’s coat, he helped himself to his owner’s lunch!  All  left behind is the green napkin it came wrapped in.

Funnier still, the coat being hardly disturbed, when his trusting, hapless friend returned, he remained totally oblivious that any crime had even taken place; his four-legged, dubious best buddy lay  innocently sleeping, exactly as he’d left him.

We didn’t have the heart to grass him up, besides, the theft would surely be discovered soon enough.. but hey, what a sweet and audacious little drama to end our day on!
