"Ma, Ma-a, come quick - Looooook!"
Hey, ho, no rest for the wicked, eh? Jake really is such a scamp, he knows he's strictly forbidden on there, not that he cares. I'd hoped to peacefully soak up a ray or two of sun in the back garden today.
I pop back indoors for ONE moment to fetch my book, and what happens? Jessie commandeers my sun-lounger, and Jake is happily in the throes of digging up all poor hubby's precious, recently planted spuds.
So, as we're both gonna' be in the dog-house now, I saw no harm in popping back in again to fetch out the camera..
Much to Jessie's disgust.
She loves hanging about around the out houses. That one there with the chicken wire across the windows used to be a pigeon coop. The guy who last owned our house was a keen homing pigeon fancier, and raced them from all over around Ireland and the UK mainland.
They can't have been that much good, 'cos none of them ever found their way back here again, once he'd moved.
We only use it for storage now, but oddly enough, although she never pays much heed to any other shed, Jess is forever sniffing about around in that "coop" - guess the scents must still linger?
(Oh no, I've just had a horrible thought; maybe she's actually been picking off and eating all the returning pigeons, one by one??)

Anyhoo's, with her vernable, old and grumpy ladyship later squaring up for a fight over ownership of not only my lounger, but of my book and of my slippers, too.
I admitted defeat, gave in, and wound up dragging this troublesome tow-rag down along to the glen, instead.
I arrived home to lovely news,
Beccy has been elected head girl of her "house" at school, for next year. Their college is split into four "houses", and every year the pupils vote for who it is from the senior form (she is hopefully set to start University, the year after) that they wish to represent them. She is so chuffed (almost as much as I'm as proud as punch)!
I hope the week is being as equally kind to you, too, and that the sun is also kissing your nose, and warming your bones?
